Housing Ministry Delivers 27.000 Apartments in 6 New Cities Next Month

In his yesterday meeting with the officials from the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), Minister of Housing Dr. Tarek Wafiq has approved delivering 27.000 apartments in 6 new cities next month.

The Minister noted that the these apartments will be offered in two separate tenders. The first tender includes 20.000 apartments in 5 cities, including Minya, Badr, Assiut, and Beni Suef, while the second tender comprises 7200 apartments in Aswan, Beni Suef, and  the 10th of Ramadan City.

Eng. Amin Abdel Moneim, Vice Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority, stated that apartments, to be launched in the first tender, will be established according the modern technology in construction which depends on non-traditional load-bearing walls, which would reduce the cost of the apartment by 40%, while apartments in the second tender  will follow the normal building system.
