VISA, one of the world's leading payment solution providers, presented the Best Bank Awards at the 13th annual Banker Middle East Industry Awards held recently at the Godolphin Ballroom in Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

Visa's sponsorship of the prestigious event celebrates its commitment to supporting the growth of the region's banking sector.

Visa helps to accelerate the global shift towards electronic payments in order to meet the needs of governments, consumers and businesses throughout the region.

Kamran Siddiqi, General Manager of Visa, Middle East and North Africa, in his speech at the event focused on the increased importance of innovation and more specifically mobile technology on banking in the future, the Saudi Gazette reported.
